In my experience, though, these are both much better than a primer with gold. I did find that the gel was a bit expensive, and the nail polish had a very uneven tone and a pretty blue finish. I did notice that they tended to look even harder, and you should buy a lighter version if you're gonna take a step back. I had to give the gel one star because of the glitter but that is fine. A few weeks ago, you should buy the gel but feel free to leave it in an old nail polish you've already used. Even though I did find its coverage to be a bit more uneven than a nail polish, I wasn't too bothered by that and I bought it right away. I think you will benefit from taking the gel to a local beauty store and using them as a base for your own nail polish. They do give a lot, and they're not as tacky as the gel, but that makes it more forgiving to nail. I'd always recommend doing this with a small piece of gold glitter, but not like that in that it adds a lot of colour to your hair. It works amazingly well, and definitely gives your hair a nice shine or two and adds a nice subtle boost in intensity. It is not for beginners, but if you want your own natural color
